Our Programs
What your support makes possible.
WonderLab’s programs go beyond what insurance will cover.
These are the services that exist because our community believes every child belongs.

WonderWalk First Steps Program
Available free of charge to all children with movement delays
Research shows that children with movement delays practice walking far less than their peers, which widens the gap over time. WonderWalk offers supported treadmill practice outside of prescribed PT, free of charge, so children can build the repetitions they need to reach independent
steps sooner. -
WonderLab Workshop & Go Baby Go
Cars are gifted to nominated families at no cost
Once a year, WonderLab adapts ride-on cars with simple modifications so children with disabilities can drive themselves independently. For a child who is always being placed and pushed, getting to choose where they go, and having other kids chase their car at the park, is transformative. Adapted cars are gifted to families for free at the end of the day. -
Canine Assisted Therapy Program
In partnership with East Valley Therapy Dogs
In partnership with East Valley Therapy Dogs, WonderLab brings certified therapy dogs into sessions across OT, PT, and speech. A dog sitting beside a child can lower anxiety enough to unlock a breakthrough. A dog walking a balance beam can inspire a reluctant child to try. Whatever the goal, our therapy dog teams are ready to help. -
AAC Device Library
Funded in part by a 2025 IECF Grant | 11 devices available by early 2026
When a child cannot speak, an AAC device gives them a voice. Our library allows families to borrow devices while their child is assessed and waiting for insurance approval, a process that can take months. In 2025, thanks to a community grant, we added 11devices ready for use in early 2026.

Food Lab & Swallow Therapy
Available to all WonderLab Families
Eating and swallowing are skills most of us never had to learn, but for some children they require real support. Whether the challenge is mechanical, sensory, or somewhere in between, WonderLab’s speech and OT teams help children eat by mouth, sometimes for the very first time, and expand what they feel safe eating. -
Lego Club (Social Skills Group)
Available to all WonderLab Families
Children with autism often navigate social situations by working harder, not naturally. Lego Club uses structured collaborative play to build the unwritten social skills that make friendships possible. It is one of our most beloved programs and one of the clearest examples of therapy that doesn’t feel
like therapy. -
Student Mentorship and Clinical Training
Part of WonderLab’s commitment to the next generation of therapists
The Inland Empire faces a shortage of trained pediatric therapists. WonderLab addresses this by welcoming students from PT, OT, and Speech programs for clinical rotations and internships, providing hands-on mentorship in a setting few academic programs can replicate. We partner with numerous area programs and even online universities to make this happen. In 2025 we hosted 10 students across all 3 disciplines from 3 local universities, Cal Baptist University, Loma Linda University, and Stanbridge University. -
Hybrid Therapy Model
Monthly telehealth week available to all families
When COVID forced us to go remote, we discovered something unexpected: telehealth made therapy homework more effective. Seeing a family’s actual home environment helped our therapists understand real barriers and tailor support accordingly. We now offer a monthly telehealth week to all families across all disciplines. -
Community Events and Family Programming
16 events hosted in 2025 for children and families across the Inland Empire
WonderLab believes everyone deserves to belong in our clinic and in the community at large. Our community events are how we encourage engagement with peers, other families with disabled children, and able bodies community members. No one should be left on the side lines of life! From parent education groups with our community health worker and parent ditch weeks to inclusive movie nights and holiday events, we are reaching outside our walls to build the community around each child.
