Meet Malika

Malika was born at just 24 weeks and 3 days gestation. After 106 days in the NICU, she came home a fighter. At three years old, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. As her mother, I was terrified of what the future might hold.

Thankfully, we were at WonderLab.

From day one, Rhonda, Maddie, and the entire WonderLab team gave our family something we desperately needed: hope. They didn’t just provide therapy, they provided education, encouragement, and an unshakeable belief in Malika’s potential when we needed it most.

Over the years, Malika has received physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy through WonderLab. Their evidence-based, creative approach makes even the hardest work feel achievable. The dance parties are unmatched.

Today, Malika thrives in a general education classroom, performing two grade levels above her peers. WonderLab didn’t just change her physical development, they helped shape the confident, determined, and resilient young lady she is becoming.
