Maia earned her master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Loma Linda University where she had the opportunity to explore working with patients in a variety of settings from skilled nursing facilities to private practice. Outside of work, Maia prefers to spend her time reading, doing crafts, and being outdoors.
