Hello All! Welcome to Special Needs Parents I.E.!
My name is Zury and I became a special needs parent in February 2024. Since then, I have been through a roller coaster of emotions and embarked on a medical journey that has yet to give us answers to our daughter’s condition. I have searched high and low for support groups but nothing has felt fitting for my unique situation. The one thing I have wanted since day 1, is just to relate to other parents and feel supported on this journey by those who know what this life is like. Appointments, therapies, insurance issues, medical equipment, bad sleep, etc. The list goes on and on . . . . To be frank, I don’t really know what I am doing but I just hope at the very least this group can give us a place to come relate, vent, and support one another through our very special situations. Feel free to share, ask questions, and support other parents on this platform.
